Forum Rules
These are the forum rules for Crossing Together. This list will have all current rules as well as there consequences if they are broken. All first offenses will have a warning as a consequence. Subsequent infractions will be detailed below. These rules applies to all members equally, including moderators.
1. Absolutely no bigotry or hate speech
We are all here to help each other, and bigotry is counter to that goal. This is taken very seriously, and will result in a ban (which can be permanent) with the length determined by the severity of the offense.
2. Be understanding and supportive
You don't know where the person you are responding came from, or what they have been through. Listen to what someone has to say and take it into account before responding. Outright dismissal or victim blaming is not tolerated. If you disagree, do so critically and explain yourself. This infraction can result in a warning or ban.
3. Do not spam
While accidentally double posting once in a while won't matter, if you spam repeatedly you will get a warning and then a ban if it continues. Spam bots will be permanently banned. Also, keep specific discussion on topic. The off-topic forum exists for a reason.
4. Do not probe for personal information
It can be risky to reveal personal information. If a person chooses not to identify themselves, then let them do what they want. It is their information and they can do what they want with it. This infraction will result in a warning and then a ban if repeated or if the person does not stop after being warned.
